Geekly Chic

Lately I've been really busy with school, so it inspired me to make write this entry. You know there's nothing bad about being a geek, it's probably even better to dress like one.

Even models are trying to dress like us. Not bad though, right? And I love black and white photos

I've been wanting these TOMS for a while and I think they would be perfect for a geekly chic wardrobe.

I love these pastels, perfect for the fabulous spring weather. A side bag is great for a day out and carrying a few things with you. And a blazer is a must in any wardrobe whether you're going for a geekly chic look or not.


You can get this accessory from Amazon because even geeks know how to accessorize.

This would probably be considered menswear, but we girls can sport this as a juicy accessory.

I feel that even when people think plaid shirts are out, they're always in. I have a few of these in my wardrobe, but my friends think I'm in love with them (so not true lol).

Messy buns are great to achieve this look and I love the fact that she has a bun.

These glasses have been a big trend whether the people wear glasses or not they love to sport this. I've seen a bunch of people in my school wearing these. Most people don't intentionally go shopping to buy these, but keep their 3-D movie theater glasses, even when they tell you to throw it away so they can reuse it. But, you paid for the glasses along with the movie so you might as well keep it, right?

I think the high waisted jeans with the buttons are so cute, especially if they're in a different color. You can get these at stores like Forever 21 or if you're from New York you can get it from Rainbow's (rainbowshops.com) and Expo 2000.

I've got to say we geeks are quite fabulous! (Am I not?)

Grammy Award Looks

I not only watch the Grammy's to see my favorite stars win awards but for the FASHION! and this year, it was amaziinnng.

I adore this dress but I don't feel like it fits Katy Perry's personality. It's more like a Marilyn Monroe dress or for older people.


I thought this dress was odd and I did not like it at all. I love you Nicki, but not the dress. She looks like a crab, sorry.

There was a big pompadour trend going on at the Grammys and it looked fabulous!

There was also a black dress trend....

This was my favorite look at the Grammys. The hair was great and her dress was hot. And her make up just fits perfectly. If I was on Fashion Police, I vote Rihanna the best dressed.

Many people wore black dresses including Rebecca Black and Guilianna Rancic.

Nominees for the Most Creative and Unique Dresser of the Year Awards. Yea, that was a penful to write. But anyway today is the last day of 2011 and everyone always talks about the best dressed of 2011, but what about the most creative and unique dresser of the year? That's why I'm having my own mini award show. So here are my picks:

Nicki Minaj

Even this is a little crazy I still love this outfit.

This is probably one of Nicki Minaj's only semi normal outfits in her wardrobe. But I love this one too.

Katy Perry

Looks like Katy took this outfit back to the diner days, when diners were the hang out spot for teens. I j'adore her hair color.

This is so cute and I love blue. Her make up looks great too.

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga is known for her style and multiple characters. This one looks like Lady Gaga is a lady warrior. Not anything I would wear, and probably nothing you would wear, but that's probably what makes her so unique and one of the nominees.

Forever 21 and Hello Kitty are HERE

The new affordable collection of Hello Kitty hit Forever 21 stores today ( a day before the H&M and Versace line come out). This collection's prices range from $3.80 to $30 and it is so cute. Even as we grow up Hello Kitty is still to be admired. Here are some items from the collection:
This transparent raincoat is so awesome and unique.

This is a varsity sports school look perfect for higb school games and maybe even basketball games at Madison Square Garden when they finally decide to start the season and come out of the lockout.

I just love this pink slouch shirt with Hello Kitty on the side. This is part of my weekly wishlist.

This is a great for a girls night out or a day in the city. I love both of these outfits.

The outfit to the left kind of goes back in time when flappers were in style, always good to bring back old styles. You know combat boots and skinny jeans just came back in style after a long break in the spotlight of fashion world like a few decades ago, maybe not that long.

Teen Choice Awards Look-Selena Gomez

Yea. I know I'm about a week late with posting this, but does it really matter? Yea, it kind of does, but whatever. This is my favorite dress that I saw on the carpet. Selena stuck to her signature style of keeping things simple and chic. Her gold dress had a long white chiffon tail that sashayed as she walked down the carpet.

Her boyfriend Justin Beiber looked good,too. Justin always uses award shows to have fun with his style. He looked like such a stud in jeans, a rolled up button-down, black vest and crooked bow tie. Lovin' this look,too.
