Betsey Johnson Birthday Spectacular

They say age is nothing but a number. True. What? You don't believe me. Take Betsey Johnson for example. With her quirky style and her inner child screaming to come out, would you be able to tell that she just turned 70? Yes, I would have never guessed.  Though I do wish I was there for the celebration during fashion week. But, I guess these amazing photos will do for now:

AnnaSophia Rob, Adrienne Bailon and Kelly Osbourne were there among others to help Betsey celebrate. Cyndi Lauper sang "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" as Betsey sang along while rocking out.

  

The show reflected Betsey's crazy, quirky style over the years and celebrated her career. The models walked the runway with attitude, having fun as they danced and threw glitter. 

                    

I'm a big fan of Bestey and I loved her big signature tulle dresses that the models presented as they walked down the runway. 

The show closed with Betsey's daughter Lulu surprising her mother by jumping out of a huge cake while Cyndi Lauper sang her Happy Birthday. Coming out to a shower of confetti, balloons and glitter, Betsey made her grande finale with her known cartwheel and split on the runway.

              

 What a better way to celebrate? Happy Birthday, Betsey!

Birthday Blues

Hey dolls! Today it's my birthday. I'm finally 17! But, don't let the exclamation point deceive you because I am not in the best of spirits today. Many people have upset today. So I am really in no mood to celebrate, which is probably pretty sad because 17 is a big number.

I am planning on making many changes to this blog. So if you have any ideas leave a comment with your suggestion. Any new post you want to see? Don't hesitate to tell me what needs to change.

So I guess I'll go back to my birthday blues and when I'm better I'll leave you with a new diary entry.

I just have to say Happy Birthday to my awesome unique, stylish, daredevil fashionista and best friend Rihanna ( she doesn't know it yet, though). She's turning 23. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!
