Polka Dot, Polka Dot and Some Stripes

Ah, the classic polka dots and stripes. That's what I've dedicated this entry to. No matter when you wear them they are always "in."

This neutral coloured sleeveless top is perfect for the fall -well, when you're indoors, that is. Florals and stripes were paired to make this Peter Pan collared sheer top fabulous.

Delight Stripe Dress
During one of my adventures around the city, I discovered this store named Brooklyn Industries and this dress in the window drew my attention. This dress is also available in grey and black which I prefer. I love the mixture of horizontal stripes with diagonal stripes.

I also love this polka dot wonder because of the color and the long cuffed sleeves (which is my favorite part). And this is definitely a look anyone can pull off in the upcoming season.

They-whoever they might be because I'm really not sure- say wearing too many different patterns is tacky, but I'll say otherwise and show you how pairing stripes and polka dots can look chic.

I really j'adore this look. I love the way she paired a tightly striped cardigan with cute pockets and a long sleeved polka shirt under. I also loved the way she folded up the sleeves of her cardigan to reveal some polka dots from her shirt.

A fellow blogger put this juicy look together by pairing a striped 3/4th sleeve shirt with a polka dot pencil skirt.

I apologize for my lack of  diary entries. I thought that I would have so much time in the summer that all I would be doing is sharing things with my dolls, but I guess not. I also mentioned a while back that I was honored with an award by another blogger, but I haven't had enough time to  post it. I will be adding all my awards on the sidebar soon for all to see. And I thank each and everyone of you for the interest you keep in my diary. Muah!

Fashionably yours, Amira J

Fashion Inspiration #1

Here's a new feature for you lovelies. I am always inspired by something new and I decided I should share it with you guys. So every now and then I will add a diary entry about my inspiration (consider this a new feature).

I just love this image so bold and unique. Stripes are something to look for in the spring season. Her hair is so bold too with the big bow on the side. And I'm usually not into the color red but this shade is beautiful. This look is edgy but still girly. Look at the flower by the neck. And the black lipstick! Can you rock black lipstick? I could never imagine myself being able to do that. What do you think about this fashion inspiration leave me a lovely comment below or question and I'll reply when I can.

XOXO Yours truly Amira J

Maybe This Will Warm your Winter Up (Spring/Summer Ad Campaigns)

You know the weather here in NYC has been so crazy. One day you think springs here and the next day it's freezing like today. And it hasn't snowed here in NYC since October (which is really weird because it never snows in October). People said there were flurries yesterday and today but I haven't seen them. So yea..today I saw some awesome ad campaigns that I thought I shoudl share with you guys. It warmed me up today with this freezing weather.

JIMMY CHOO Featuring: Magdalena Frackowiak

These two really make a statement. Especially the red bright dress and the heels that go with it. Maybe you'll see me in a picture like this soon fighting over that bag.

Christian Dior feat Mila Kunis

Mila Kunis is so pretty and that bag stands out making its own statement. It could have an ad all by itself.

Gucci

Gucci showing off with both menswear for women and dressy outfits. Love the tie and blazer.

CHANEL Featuring: Joan Smalls & Saskia de Brauw

This is beautiful. I love black and white pictures where you only think about the meaning behind the picture and what is happening instead of the colors.

Do you have a sweet tooth for fashion? Then this is just for you!

Louis Vuitton

Here's something sweet for you guys. Reminds me of the ice cream truck playing music outside during the summer. This is one of my favorite ads.

Mulberry

Filled with ice cream cones, peppermint sticks, and other sugary sweets this ad is sugary sweet! Look at the amazing bags, wedges, florals and stripes and COLORS!

I'm warming up already. XOXO muah love Amira J...
